Mental and Emotional Health focuses on your mind and emotions.
Do you understand your emotions?
Do you understand your triggers?
Are you able to control your emotions?
Are you able to regulate your emotions when triggered?
What makes you feel beautiful?
What makes you feel small?
Do you understand where your trauma came from?
Do you understand your shadows?
And what makes your light shine?
Are you listening to too many other people or things, instead of yourself?
Do you speak kindly to yourself?
Or are you perpetually negative?
Do you see the best in yourself and others, or the worst?
Do you need to go to therapy? I’ve never believed people need to go to therapy indefinitely, but I have found it helpful at different points in my life to address specific trauma, experiences, or patterns.
Do you have an underlying mental health condition that needs to be treated (such as: depression, addiction, or suicidal ideation, for example)?
What stories do you tell yourself?
What do you put into your mind?
What habits do you need to start or to stop?
